I am inspired daily by the energy of New York City; it is where I have grown my creative practice the most.

I am searching for new means of expression, between abstraction and representation, stasis and flux. By creating shapes and compositions which are hard to decipher and which have the ability to transform in the viewer’s gaze; I want to encourage various interpretations and multiplicity of meaning.

I obtained a Fine Art Diploma at Bournville Institute of Art, Birmingham, UK and was awarded a Distinction. I have a BA in English Literature from the University of Nottingham, UK and an MA in individualized study from New York University, USA. Recently I have studied with Peter Bonner at The Art Students League in New York. 

I have exhibited at the Painting Center, NYC, in a group exhibition called “Mythos” curated by Clintel Steed (2023). My work was selected for The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in London (2023). I was awarded a Red Dot of Distinction from The Art Students League at the Student Salon (2023). I received a Merit Scholarship from The Art Students League (2022-23). My work “Burst” was acquired by The Art Students League for their permanent collection in 2023.
